Keenan Steiner

I am a freelance web copywriter and journalist in Brooklyn who plugs right into your team to conceptualize and create content that helps your brand shine.

I specialize equally in longform writing (blogging, feature articles, white papers) and developing quick, funny, and clever concepts for social media and elsewhere.

Most recently, I led the writing of fintech startup Flutterwave's new website, shaped blog posts for smart-ring startup Token, and wrote a white paper for recruiting firm Gainor. Meanwhile, I wrote this ridiculous rant about the NYC subway system for Time Out New York. From 2010 to 2013, I was a reporter with the groundbreaking Sunlight Foundation in Washington, where my investigations led to appearances on PBS, Politico, and some radio shows.

I'm a regular contributor to New York Magazine's Grub Street, where I write stories about the restaurant business, and, sometimes, about how to choose the perfect beer to go with a slice of cake.
